A document or book in PDF format is great, I can take it with me on my flash drive and pretty much be able to read it anywhere, or I can put it on my PDA and read it whenever I feel like it. I really like the whole PDF idea.

However, something that was at one time a lean and mean program has become this bloated thing that is slow opening, slow shutting down and is always wanting to update itself in one way or another. Not to mention with every new version there are tons of new features, but the one feature I loved is gone, the hand. Used to I could drag around a document that did not fit on the screen using the hand, now I have to use the slider bars, it was so much easier the old way.

Q: What do websites, and a loaf of bread have in common?
A: They get old, stale and moldy.

We as a society like change, in some ways. Most people have a hard time with personal changes that require them to leave their "comfort zone". How many of us know someone that keeps a job they really just do not like because it is easier to continue working there rather than change jobs for the better (one hopes it is better at least)? How about someone that never bothers to move from a house they have clearly outgrown because of how hard it is to pack everything away and move it?

And more importantly, why should we build it for you?

Within 10 years of designing websites we have seen a lot of things change.  Websites are more interactive,  page layouts are more standardized,  the compulsion to have a rainbow of colors has declined and the amount of animated cartoons are, thankfully, fewer and far between.  The world wide web has clearly evolved into more attractive and effective tool.

However, the real jaw dropper for us is the realization that there are many companies that still do not have any presence on the web. Regularly, we hear companies tell us that they don't need a website. Seriously, the web is here to stay,  so why not use it to their advantage?
